HADRIAN'S REVIEW: The Giant's Causeway, Ireland

Hello there! My name is Hadrian. Recently my family and I went to the Giant's Causeway.

Where is the Giant's Causeway?

It is on 44 Causeway Road, Bushmills, which is in Northern Ireland.

This is me at the Giant's Causeway. As you can see it is made out of many hexagonal shapes formed "some 60 million years ago when volcanic activity forced tectonic plates to stretch and break, causing magma to spew up from inside the Earth and spill out across the surface as lava" although some people believe giants made it. That's why it is called the "Giant's Causeway" not the "When volcanic blah blah blah did something and made some steps that look like hexagons or something."

What were your first impressions?

I was too cold to really think. But once I warmed up and started to climb it I was amazed by how much of these almost perfect hexagons there were at the causeway.

Why are you wearing a jacket and scarves?

Because it was coooold.

How did you like it?

The reason I liked the causeway was because you were able to do something rather than look at something. I mean, yes, there are amazing mountains around you and yes, these giant steps (not as giant as I thought) would make a great photo, but for me, nothing beats the ability to actually experience it, to walk on it.

What does it look like?

This is a video made by my dad. It just shows some pictures and some drone footage but it would give you a view of more of the Causeway.

This is a little bit more detail of the causeway. You can walk on it. They aren't so big and tall that you would have to look at it from the bottom.

What did you think of it altogether?

The causeway was amazing. I would go there all the time and it's free so, if you're in the area, go take a look at the Giant's Causeway. It'll do you some good!

What's the rating out of 5?
